 27 January: RUPIAH EXCHANGE RATE Spot Pitch Closed Rose 10 points To 13,876, rupiah closed Trading strengthened 10 points or 0.07% to Rp 13.876 per u.s. dollar in trading Wednesday (27/1/2016).

The exchange rate of the rupiah opened rose 0.23% or Rp level 32 points to 13.854 per u.s. dollar.

Furthermore, the rupiah strengthened 34 points or 0.24% to as low as Rp 13.852 per u.s. dollar.

This occurs when the strengthening of the us dollar observed weakening 0.29% to as low as US $ 99,06. Oil prices also tracked a rebound.

Brent oil rose 2.49% to US $ 31,26 per barrel on Wednesday early morning after briefly slipping more than 4%, while WTI rose 2.74 31,17% to US $ per barrel.

Before the rupiah depreciates closed 23 points or 0.17% to Rp 13.886 per u.s. dollar in trading yesterday.

It is in line with the Asean currency movements also tracked weakening.
